About Thirsk FoE

We are the the local group of Friends of the Earth in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

There is so much we can do at local level to look after the natural world around us – our countryside, plants, animals, rivers, hedgerows, footpaths.

Through campaigning, we can encourage decision-makers at all levels to prioritise our environment in their policymaking and show real leadership in the fight against climate change and biodiversity loss.

Thirsk Friends of the Earth is a fairly new local group. If you're keen to do your bit for the environment, join us! From litter-picking and repair cafés to nature projects and climate campaigning, we want to make a difference. With your help we can do that!
